Two distinctive ways to stay in Kona

Yes! Both Kona Mansions and Keauhou Bay Resort have air conditioning, so you can come home from a sunny beach day, cool down and sleep comfortably.

I try to make beach days as easy as possible for you. Both condos include snorkeling gear, beach chairs, an umbrella, a cooler, beach bags and plenty of beach towels. Just choose your beach, pack some snacks and go!

You won’t believe how many spices and cooking utensils you will find at both places! I provide oils, vinegar, salt, pepper and such a wonderful assortment of spices that you should not need to buy a single one—well, except for the food you are going to cook. That part you do need to buy :-). You will also find plenty of cookware, dishes, glassware and everyday kitchen essentials.

It really depends on the personality you want your vacation to have. Choose Kona Mansions if you love being in the middle of the action: it is colorful, comfortable and wonderfully walkable, with Honl’s Beach about five minutes away and downtown Kona about seven to ten minutes away. It is perfect for one or two guests who want to walk to breakfast, restaurants, shops, sunsets and nightlife—and it gives you a small head start when exploring North Kona and Kohala. Choose Keauhou Bay Resort if your dream vacation feels quieter, romantic and tropical. You can enjoy coffee on the large lanai, relax by the resort pool, walk to Keauhou Bay and the shopping center, and return to a peaceful home that sleeps up to four. It is also a convenient starting point for Captain Cook and South Kona. Both are lovely for couples, solo travelers, honeymoons and anniversaries; the real choice is downtown energy or resort-style calm.

Yes! Each condo has its own dedicated parking space directly in front of the unit. That makes unloading luggage, groceries and all your beach-day treasures so much easier.

Yes. Both are ground-floor units. Keauhou has approximately two steps at the entrance, and Kona Mansions has approximately three.

Each condo has an extremely comfortable king-size bed in the bedroom. Kona Mansions sleeps two guests. Keauhou sleeps up to four and also has a very comfortable queen sofa bed in the living room. It is easy to set up at night and easy to fold away again in the morning, so the living space still feels open during the day.

Both locations make exploring easy, just in different directions. From Kona Mansions, Honl’s Beach is about a five-minute walk and downtown Kona is about seven to ten minutes away on foot. You are also slightly closer to Kua Bay, Hāpuna, Waimea, Hāwī and the north side of the island. Keauhou is about a two-minute walk from Keauhou Bay, across from Keauhou Shopping Center and close to snorkeling, manta-ray tours, canoeing and golf. It also gives you a head start toward Captain Cook, coffee farms, Kealakekua Bay and South Kona.
